Craig,

I've checked out a few of your blogs - lots of good ideas. Sorry I couldn't make it down to Peoria for your retirement party. I'm sure that you will be missed and wish you and Beth well on the next chapter.

That's a good idea about the Arthur position - maybe I'll apply and see if they would offer part-time, non-resident status. It may be worth a shot.

Again, thanks for all the support and for forwarding any job leads.

Keep in touch,
Mike

Hi Craig! Just what I need - one more social networking site to stay on top of! But unlike Facebook, I figure that this one will be good from a professional standpoint. Things are good here (for now). Our small team is keeping busy with our individual projects and team project to update our Downtown/Central Area Plan in-house over the next few months. Also, I am still working on the implementation of the Riverfront Master Plan and our Steering Committee is currently forming a separate 501c3 Riverfront Foundation for private fundraising efforts to help supplement the public costs. New development is few and far between and like everywhere else, Village revenues are down, so we are all waiting for possible furloughs and/or layoffs. A decision could come soon. I'll keep you posted. I hope all is well in Peoria. Take care, Mike.
